Posted 02/01/2018 03:00PM

After two rounds of highly competitive statewide auditions, two Middle Learning and eleven Upper Learning singers have secured a coveted place in the All-State Chorus, and one cellist a seat in the All-State Orchestra. All-State brings together the best high school musicians from around Georgia for a performance. This year, the performance will be held in Athens, in mid-February for the chorus and early March for the orchestra.
Congratulations to UL singers Jacob Marks '19, Joseph Henry Monti '19, Charlie Pike '18, Sophie Pike '20, Stephanie Rinzler '18, Sammy Rosner '19, Julia Schiffer '21, Rachel Schiffer '19, Cole Smith '19, Mary Timmons '21, Isak Wall '20, and to eighth-grade singers Maisie Pike and Baron Walker, and cellist Ilana Hilley '21.
Two seniors, Charlie Pike and Stephanie Rinzler, made it to All-State Chorus all six years during the time they were eligible (since seventh grade). Congratulations, students!
