Parent Volunteers
At Galloway, parents are more than supporters. They are an essential part of the school’s fabric. From the very beginning, Mr. Galloway emphasized the importance of the three-legged stool: students, faculty, and parents as the foundation of a strong, healthy school community. Each leg plays a vital role, and when all three work together, our school stands tall.
Galloway parents bring energy, creativity, and care to everything they do. Whether organizing events, volunteering in classrooms, supporting the arts, or leading community initiatives, their contributions make a meaningful impact on campus life. Volunteering is not just about giving time. It is about building relationships, modeling engagement for our children, and helping Galloway continue to thrive.
No matter how much time you can offer, whether an hour a week, a month, or even just once a year, there is a place for you. We welcome all who are interested to explore the many ways to get involved and join a vibrant community of families who believe in Galloway’s mission.
Parents Association
The Galloway Parents Association strives to promote a close relationship among parents, students, faculty, and administrators. Led by officers who are nominated and elected annually, the Parents Association sponsors, coordinates, and supports services, events, and activities which encourage community spirit, promote understanding of the Galloway philosophy, and enrich the educational and social development of our students.
Tartan Backers
The Tartan Backers Association is Galloway’s athletics booster and volunteer service organization. Its goal is to support Galloway’s Athletic Department, its sports teams and all student-athletes. Tartan Backers work to build community among athletes and fans by coordinating special events like the sports banquets, senior nights, cookouts and pre-game celebrations, in addition to operating the concession stands, selling Gallowear spirit merchandise, and serving as team parents and coaches. Any excess funds raised by Tartan Backers are used to support the needs of Galloway athletics.
Fine Arts Boosters (FAB)
Fine Arts Boosters (FAB) plays a leading role in supporting the visual and performing arts in our school community. FAB members strive to enhance the arts and creative expression at Galloway by supporting fine arts faculty and students, raising funds, and promoting arts programming at all grade levels. In lockstep with our school’s mission, a shared belief that the arts elevate the human experience, encourage creative self-expression, and foster a vibrant and engaging student learning community guides our efforts. With a full calendar of mainstage events, and nearly 90% of students participating in the arts, there is no shortage of ways to be involved.
