Galloway Theatre Company presents: A Midsummer Night's Dream

Matthew Corrigan has just moved here from Wilton Connecticut and will be doing his first tech production. He is excited to be part of the Galloway community, and looks forward to doing more in the future. If he were a fairy, his fairy name would be “Looney” because it is representative of his funny and goofy nature, and is a subtle note to his favorite movie Space Jam 2: A New Legacy.

Hayden is going to be working his third Galloway production and is thrilled to be running his first Upper Learning production in person and with a live audience. If he were a fairy, his name would be “Adam” because it represents his side character energy.

This is Luke’s fifth play and his final non-musical performance at Galloway, and he is excited and determined to make this an entertaining one. If he were a fairy his name would be “Sunny” to represent his open-minded and fun-loving personality.

Margaret is thrilled to perform her sixth production at Galloway! After participating in two virtual shows last year, she is beyond excited to act on stage in front of a live audience again! If she was a fairy, her name would be “Jazzy” to represent her bold, outgoing personality! 

This is Ella’s fourth year of theater and final play at Galloway, and she is so excited to finally be back on the stage again and be able to share Shakespeare with a real live audience! If she were a fairy, her fairy name would be “Aspen” because they’re her favorite tree (and also because it’s her middle name!)

Simon is excited to be participating in his third year of Galloway Technical Theatre and first Upper Learning production with a live audience. If he were a fairy, his name would be “Barry” because it represents his main character energy.

Sophia is delighted to perform in her third Galloway Theater Company production and is looking forward to doing her first Shakespearean performance. If she were a fairy, her name would be “Bubbles” because she has an effervescent personality and loves pop music!

Nate is overjoyed to perform in his third Galloway Theater Company production and is looking forward to being back on stage with all the lights, sets, costumes, and everything he loves about the theatre being back this year! If he were really one of Oberon’s fairies then his fairy name would be “Moonlight” because of its mysterious and magical properties.

This is Ariana’s seventh production with the Galloway Theater Company and her fourth play. She is so excited to perform Midsummer as her last play at Galloway and can’t wait to share it with everyone! If she was a fairy, she’d be named “Pixie Dust” because Tinker Bell is her favorite fairy!

 Jonah is super excited to be in the Galloway Theater Company again! He is especially happy to be doing his first Shakespearean play! If he were a fairy, his name would be “Firework” because he is always excited and jubilant when he is with others!

This is Luke’s first production to be performed live on stage at Galloway. After joining the tech crew last year for the filming of a hybrid style musical, they are excited to be working in the theater this year, and are especially happy to be learning new skills related to lighting. Luke’s fairy name would be “Pike,” like the fish, or the non-fish weapon.

Alex Lewis is enthusiastic about his third and first in person play with the Galloway School! He is super thrilled to  do his first Shakespeare play. If he were a fairy his name would be “Bolt” because he has a strong amount of energy.

This is Claire's first theater production at Galloway, and they are excited for many more! They can't wait to share this play with an audience, and they hope everyone enjoys it. If they were a fairy their name would be "Snooze," because that's what they love to do.

This is Jacob’s 5th theater production and he could not be more excited to be doing Midsummer for the 2nd time. This time as the moon that shines bright in the sky. If I had a fairy name, it would be spice because of my sassy and tasty personality.

This is Allison’s second year in technical theatre at Galloway! She’s excited that the first in-person show she’s done has such a captivating plot and set. If she was a fairy, her name would be “Mercury,” like the element.

Aidan is super excited to be in his second Galloway production as an actor! He is looking forward to contrasting the structured nature of Athens to the wild of the woods! If he was a fairy, his name would be “Waltz” because of his fun-loving yet organized personality!

This is Audrey’s fourth Galloway Theater Company show, and first play. She is super excited to be able to participate in an in person show again this year! If she were a fairy her name would be ”Cloudy” because saying no two clouds are alike is slightly more creative than saying no two snowflakes are alike and Audrey is a cheesy person like that.

Dolph is excited to be taking part in his third Galloway theater production, with this being his second in-person show. He also acted as the Zoommaster for two dance productions last year, when they were online. If he were a fairy, his fair name would be “Tegend.”

This is Griffen’s fifth Galloway Theater production. He is excited to be back in the shop and building a real set for an in person play. If Griffen were a fairy his name would be “Sqwglth'' because vowels are optional.

This is Amelia’s first show with the Galloway Theater Company and they are super excited to be a part of this amazing show. Although this is their first time stage managing a show, they have been in a countless number of shows. If they were a fairy, their name would be “Aspen.”

Lucy is thrilled to be in her fifth Galloway production as an actress! After a year of virtual theater, she is looking forward to returning to the stage in this vibrant production of Midsummer. If she was a fairy, her name would be “Jolly” because of her love for fun, happiness, and Christmas!

This is Elijah’s first high school production since coming to Galloway and he’s eager to help perform a wonderful show. His fairy name would be “Hajile”, mainly because it’s his name spelled backwards and he is outstandingly uncreative.

This is Alex’s 5th production at the Galloway School. If Alex were a fairy his name would be, “Rickus Dickus,” short for Richard Richards, because the owl that dove in front of his car was named Ricki. (it’s alive)

Audrey is ecstatic to be in her 5th show at Galloway. Due to Covid this will be her first production on the stage (and not on a laptop) as a high school student. If she was a fairy, her name would be “Lyra” because it is one of her favorite hobbies.

Kathryn is very excited to be in her 5th show at Galloway! She is looking forward to finally being able to perform on stage (instead of a computer) again! If she were a fairy her name would be “Sonnet.”

This is Owen's Fifth and final performance at Galloway. He can't wait to be on the stage again and perform to a live audience for the first time in almost two years! If he were a fairy, his name would be "Fervor" because of my very intense and passionate nature.

Fritz Is overjoyed to perform in his 8th show at galloway he is ecstatic to be performing live again and glad his last show could be on the stage that he has spent years of his life on his fairy name would be “Medley” because he never stops singing (please we have tried to ask him to stop but he won’t).

This is Liza’s first Galloway play and she is so elated to be back on the stage and in front of an audience again! She is thrilled to be working on this show and is so glad to be back with the Galloway company! If she were a fairy, her name would be “Mildew.”

This is Jonah’s ninth and final production with the Galloway Theater Company. After participating in a year of virtual productions, he is thrilled to have the opportunity to act in his final production on the stage. If he was a fairy, his name would be “Radiant” because he is always happy and excited for the future.

Ms. Cramer is delighted to direct Midsummer, since she has acted in it 3 times, and seen it more times than she could count (though her favorite version was seen in Florence-- in full Italian!). If she were a Fairy, her name would be “Pivot,” to describe her flexible and improvisational nature!

This is Ms Whalen’s third year at Galloway, and she has enjoyed all the new ways she got to work with the technicians this year. The song from Emma the speaks to her the most is “Roar” because she feels like a champion. 

Ms. Cates has been having fun designing and painting costume pieces for Midsummer. Her fairy name would be “Hikari (光)” because it’s her favorite Japanese Kanji meaning “light.”

Truly Cates is a Galloway Alum (Class of 2017) and so excited to be back after graduating from Carnegie Mellon University with a BFA in Lighting Design. If she were a Fairy, her name would be “Vibrance,” after her love of color.
