Galloway Jr. Theatre Company presents Dear Edwina

Dear Edwina follows the adventures of plucky advice-giver-extraordinaire, Edwina Spoonapple, as she directs the neighborhood kids in a series of buoyant production numbers for the latest edition of her weekly "Advice-a-Palooza.” Edwina and her friends share wisdom on everything from trying new foods to making new friends, through clever, catchy and poignant songs.
 
We may not be back on the stage quite yet, but we were able to rehearse, perform, and celebrate the magic of musical theatre with the Dear Edwina Online Edition. MTI created a 20-minute version of the adored Broadway Junior® show that was specifically designed to be rehearsed, produced, and performed remotely on the internet. Watch below and enjoy!

Director's Note

Our opening night is long overdue. We rehearsed this show during our fall semester with cast members online and in person. We were planning on filming in person the day that all of ML closed to quarantine before Christmas Break. We ended up still filming that day but virtually in our own houses and backyards. But just like the neighborhood kids in Edwina’s Advice-a-Palooza, our ML Musical kids are extraordinarily resilient and turned this hardship into a challenge. We are grateful we were able to give our cast and creative team the opportunity to connect and hope we can delight our audiences. If you can't join us LIVE...the link will still be available for you to watch at any time. Thank you, as always, for your continued support of your children and of Galloway’s ML Theatre Program.  I am grateful to be their director.
