UL Debate Teams Continue Successful Season
After a strong start to the season, Galloway's Debate Teams continue to see success this school year, most recently at two virtual debates with local schools. Congratulations to the following debaters on their awards!
Westminster
- Nora Perez-Rubio and Jake Isenberg - Novice Champions (they won 7 of 8 debates over two long, strenuous days to be crowned champions!)
- Nora Perez-Rubio - Novice 4th Speaker
Midtown
- Sophie Volpe and Margaret Edmonds - Varsity Co-Champions
- Aidan Munroe and Diya Gundlapalli - Varsity Co-Champions
- Margaret Edmonds - Varsity 1st Speaker
- Diya Gundlapalli - Varsity 2nd Speaker
- Aidan Munroe - Varsity 3rd Speaker
- Sophie Volpe - Varsity 4th Speaker
Students will spend the next several weeks enjoying a break over the holidays before attending tournaments in January at Alpharetta and Emory and the state championships in February!
