Galloway's track and field team finished off their season last week with three terrific performances in the GHSA State Meet in Rome, GA.
Adair Carlin '26 won an individual state championship in the women's pole vault with a jump of 12'1, beating the second-place finisher by over 2 feet and securing Galloway's first state championship since 2016.
Both 4x800 relay teams finished in the Top 10 at the State Meet. First, the girls team of Lillie Neidlinger '26, Maya Swinsburg '26, Naomi Dixon '26, and Bridget Wilbur '26 took home the 7th place spot. The boys team of Simon Brees '23, Max Matelic '23, Markus von Wismar '23, and Dylan Feld '24 also had an amazing race and finished in 8th place. What a great season for both of our 4x800 relay teams!
