Spring Sports on Fire!

Girls tennis finished their regular season with a 2nd place region finish and is headed to state for the first time since 2018.

Boys tennis finished their regular season with a 4th place region finish and is headed to state for the 5th time in seven years.

Boys soccer is currently tied for 2nd place in the region and ranked 8th in the state by MaxPreps.

Girls soccer is currently tied for 3rd place in the region and ranked 10th in the state by MaxPreps. Both teams have a great chance of making the state tournament.

Our track and field athletes continue to exceed expectations as well! With an incredible 12'1" pole vault, Adair Carlin '26 won the Metro Atlanta Championship by over a foot and is ranked top 25 in the nation.

Lillie Neidlinger '26, Maya Swinsburg '26, Bridget Wilbert '26, and Naomi Dixon '26 won the 4 x 800-meter relay at the Lovett Home Meet earlier this week with a time of 11:02.51.

Sprinters Alex Lewis '23, Dylan Homer '26, Chase Cunningham '24, and Matthew McKelvey '23 placed 10th at the Metro Atlanta Championship last Monday in the 4 x 200-meter relay, which was a 3-second improvement from last season's GHSA State Sectional performance. Ahead of last season's pace by three weeks, they aim to challenge at the region meet.

All families are invited to celebrate our spring sports seniors on Tuesday, April 4, at the Galloway Athletics Complex, located at 2400 Defoors Ferry. The Tartan Backers will be grilling hot dogs and hamburgers, and we will honor our senior athletes from tennis, soccer, baseball, golf, and track & field in between soccer matches at approximately 5:30 PM. We hope to see you there. Go Scots!
