Seventh Grader to Run Half Marathon for SACH

Lulu Anderson '30 is training to run the Publix Half Marathon to support the life-saving work of Save a Child's Heart (SACH). Located in Israel, SACH saves the lives of children suffering from heart disease in countries where access to pediatric care is limited or nonexistent. SACH is a place of hope and possibility, offering care to children of all faiths and backgrounds.

With the help of Coach Leslie Cortright, Lulu is pushing herself to run her first half marathon on March 2 and raise $15,000 by April 5 as part of her Bat Mitzvah project. This goal will help one child receive life-changing surgery, which in turn, might give them the opportunity to run in their future, too. We're so proud of Lulu and all that she has accomplished!
