Music Teacher Serves as Consultant for Starz Show
ML & UL guitar and music instructor Brian Mitchell recently served as a teacher and consultant on a new show called Black Mafia Family for the Starz network. He taught actor Russell Hornsby, who you may recognize from the show Grimm or the movie The Hate U Give, how to play the 10-string steel guitar.
Based on a true story, Black Mafia Family is show is set in Detroit in the late 1980s and early 90's. Shooting for the show is set to wrap in April; the release date is still TBD. We look forward to seeing Brian's incredible teaching skills in action!
