ML Athletes Break Records at Track & Field Championship
Adair Carlin '26 placed first in the Georgia Middle School State Championship in the pole vault this past weekend. Her vault of 11'0 was not only a school record, but also a state meet record! Her closest competition in 2nd place was a vault of 8'10; she beat the next closest by over 2 feet!
Sydney Glee '25 finished third in the 300M Hurdles at the Georgia Middle School State Championship. She ran a personal best in that event with a time of 48.86. Sydney also had another top 10 finish in the 400 Meters, by placing seventh. She recorded another personal best with a time of 59.86.
