IN THE CLASSROOM: Author Visits UL Writing Workshop

Last week, author Aaron Levy visited Mrs. Reed's UL Writing Workshop students. Students read his book Blood Don't Lie in preparation for his presentation, and he covered topics such as where ideas come from and the steps of the creative process. Blood Don't Lie received the GA Author of the Year Award for young adult fiction in 2018, and continues to be taught at dozens of Georgia middle and high schools. A former high school English teacher, Aaron Levy was an Associate Professor of Creative Writing, and English Education at Kennesaw State University. In the Spring of 2016, he began serving as the Director of Academics for the Georgia Film Academy.
