Two Seniors Chosen for Global Capstone Showcase

Congratulations to Canada Smith '25 and AJ Weinstein '25! Both seniors were nominated by their Global Online Academy teacher’s and chosen to be in the Global Capstone Showcase.

Over 1,300 projects were submitted this semester, and only 54 were selected as exemplary.

Canada’s teacher said, "This amazing project is consistent with Canada's phenomenal work all semester. She is a deep thinker and feeler with a positive, solution oriented mindset."

AJ’s teacher said, “AJ's project is a solid example of combining something he is interested in (fashion and marketing) and looking at a part of that industry through the lens of social psychology. His presentation in the form of a video voice over with informational slides is compelling and shows both his creativity as well as the persuasive message on the impacts of this fairly common consumer practice of buying “’fakes.’”
