Last week, several Galloway students attended ThesCon 2023 in Columbus, GA along with faculty members Misao Cates, David Morgan, and Antonia Fairchild.
Galloway’s Tech Challenge team (Simon Guterman ‘23, Hayden Craig ‘23, Diego Shipmon ‘23, and Kai Stennet ‘26) won first place in the Stagecraft - Drop Fold event. Simon also won a Thespy award for sound design for Galloway’s 2022 fall production of Eurydice.
Congratulations are also in order to Will Morrison ‘25, Lucy Pittman ‘23, and Peyton Hunter ‘23 for the selection of their film entry, Eurydice, to the conference’s Film Festival. It was one of a short list of films that were screened at last week’s festival, and Will represented the school and his film team at a talkback that followed the screening.
