Galloway Students Receive Film Festival Honors

As part of her independent study with Galloway's Creative Content Director Clay Randel, Sophia Hernandez ’24 wrote, directed, and produced the short film Bucket List.

The film follows a high school athlete, played by Jacob McGlothen '24, who prepares to perform on the biggest stage of his life and also featured Galloway students as extras and Natalie Spear '24 as tech/script supervisor.

The Atlanta High School Film Festival awarded Bucket List the Best Sound Design award and Jacob Best Actor and was one of nine films to receive accolades out of 405 submissions by high schoolers in nine states. Congratulations, Sophia and Jacob!
