For the second year in a row, Galloway has been designated a No Place for Hate School! We are proud to join over 1,600 schools that hold this distinction.
Each of Galloway's three levels worked with Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer Dr. Karen Bradberry on bias work. Upper Learning students created a Humans of Galloway project by interviewing students about their unique identities. Middle Learning students learned respectful ways to communicate and ways to be an upstander, and Early Learning students focused on bullying prevention and awareness.
Congratulations to our student committee members (Zachary Burns, Darren Chase, Ashlyn Bobb-Collins, Peyton Hunter, Ariana Jones, Elsie Salerno, Audrey Smith, Natalie Spear, Lindsey West) and our faculty members (Lynn Mandelbaum, Kim Washington, Mary Giattina, Candace Bell, Silvette Bullard, Ann Fountain, Gordon Mathis, and Felicia McCrary), who helped make this possible!
