Former Atlanta United Players Speak to Soccer Teams
On Monday, February 28, both varsity soccer teams welcomed former Atlanta United soccer players, Michael Parkhurst and Greg Garza, as guest speakers. Mr. Parkhurst and Mr. Garza founded Beyond Goals Mentoring, an organization that provides soccer mentoring for the next generation of players.
They delivered an outstanding player education filled with a wealth of valuable advice on player development, leadership qualities, mental mindset, how to be a good teammate, and other great traits to build confidence on and off the field. It was truly an honor to learn from them and engage with our Scots in meaningful discussions. We are so grateful for them sharing their wisdom!
