Amir Arrington '23 has received a Posse Scholarship to attend The George Washington University!
The Posse Foundation is a national nonprofit organization that provides students with full-tuition scholarships and leadership training at selective schools across the country. The unique Posse concept is centered on a cohort-based model that admits students to attend college as part of a "Posse" of 10 peers. To be considered for Posse, a student needs to be nominated for consideration, usually through a community-based organization; a member of Amir's church family nominated him for the Posse Scholarship.
Nominated students undergo three rounds of interviews before final selections are made. The colleges designated for students from Atlanta are Bard College, Boston University, Brandeis University, Texas A&M University, The College of Wooster, and The George Washington University.
Congratulations to Amir on this incredible achievement!
