Academic courses are for grades nine through 12. Total credit possible is one hour.
Registration deadline for first session is June 1; deadline for second session is June 29. Space is limited and may fill prior to deadline. Full payment must be received BEFORE admittance to class.
Students withdrawing at least a full week prior to course start date will receive a full refund, not including the $50 processing fee. (Refunds for withdrawals after this will be made at the discretion of the summer school director.)
Classrooms may have students of varying skill levels studying different topics. Instruction is always one-on-one. However, to be successful, students must be able to work independently while the teacher is interacting with other students.
All classes are for credit, unless previously arranged with program director.
To receive course credit, students must make up all absences through an arrangement with the instructor approved by the director. Tardies count toward an absence.
Enrichment classes count as elective credit unless specified otherwise. Galloway students wishing to take a new core course for credit must receive approval of the Upper Learning department head.

Taggart’s Basic Driver Education Program is licensed by the Georgia Department of Motor Vehicle Safety and consists of 30 hours of classroom instruction and six hours of behind-the-wheel training. Under Georgia law, individuals under 18 years of age must complete a four-hour Alcohol and Drug Awareness Program (ADAP) before a driver’s license can be issued. The ADAP is included in the Taggart classroom program.
