Remember when learning was fun? Equip your child to be a seeker of knowledge rather than a receiver of information. At Camp IQ we focus on “how we come to know” rather than “what we need to know.”
Immersed in an inquiry based learning environment, students at Camp IQ will dig beneath the surface as they learn to ask, ponder and find a million paths to a resolution. Campers will learn there isn’t always one right answer, and sometimes there is no definitive answer at all. An integrated curricular approach allows for deeper understanding and helps students make important connections within and across specific content.
Culminating activities will include the opportunity for students to share their learning by creating an authentic product that showcases their new understanding. Students will be encouraged to find meaningful ways to apply their new learning to make positive changes in self, at home, at school, and in their communities.
Camp IQ is focused on developing skills and nurturing the inquiring attitudes necessary for the 21st century learner. As a part of the learning community at Camp IQ, your child will gain experience as a critical thinker, an innovator, a problem solver, and a collaborative learner. Equip your child to be a seeker of knowledge rather than a receiver of information. Give your child the gift of learning—learning for meaning, learning for understanding.
